Biography
Born in 1974 in the city of Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod ). He began his musical education at the age of seven in the Nizhny Novgorod (Gorky) choir of the boys, then he entered the Nizhny Novgorod Music College named after Balakirev in the class of L. N. Morenova. He received his professional conductor education at the Moscow Conservatory (in 1998 he graduated with honors from the conductor-choir faculty with a degree in professor B. G. Tevlin , and in 2001, from the faculty of opera and symphony conducting with professor M. F. Ermler ).
In 2005, Zhiganshin graduated from the graduate school of the Nizhny Novgorod Conservatory in the class of Professor A. M. Skulsky .
Since 2004, Zhiganshin - conductor of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic. In addition, he collaborates with opera and ballet theaters in various cities of Russia. In 2000-2005 he was the musical director and conductor of the Perm Academic Opera and Ballet Theater , in 2006-2007 - the artistic director and conductor of the Magnitogorsk Opera and Ballet Theater . R.R. Zhiganshin pays great attention to the education of a new generation of musicians. He conducts the orchestra at the annual festival "New Names" , in which young musicians of Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod participate, concerts of the subscription "On the steps of musical knowledge."
In October 2010, he married his student Svetlana Pantyukhina. Divorced her in 2015. Has a daughter, Linaru.
