Story
Two young police officers dream of fighting crime, but corrupt police and officials stand in their way until they decide to join the BOPE (Special Police Operations Battalion), a unit of tough guys who know how to deal with evil.
They have to go through a serious qualification course in order to prove that they are worthy to wear a skull on their chests - a symbol of people in black who come to the favelas in order to kill and not die, but only one of them will replace the squad leader, who tired of the war and has long been looking for a replacement.
The film is based on real events.

Criticism and reviews
When the first version of the film leaked, it sparked much controversy over the depiction of impunity for police brutality in slums; some saw it as glamorous police violence. After his exhibition at the Berlin Film Festival , critic Jay Weisberg, in his Variety article, called the film “an unambiguous celebration of violence — for-the-good, who play as a recruiting film for fascists and thugs [7] . Michelle Misse, a researcher of urban violence at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, in an article in Carta Capital, tried to explain why some people hailed Captain Nascimento’s actions: “since the judicial system cannot handle the sentence, some may think that human rights lead to impunity. They want illegal decisions, therefore the captain is called Nascimento ” [8] .
Continuation
