Style
The author defines the style of Plutenko as “Seeing the unusual and making it more unusual” [3] . Various critics define the genre in which Plutenko works as surrealism [6] (the author is included in the International Encyclopedia of Science Fiction Artists, Surrealists, Symbolists and Futurists as surrealist [2] ), hyperrealism , “fantasy” realism [7] or salon style [8] The artist works on canvases quickly, completing the next work in 7-10 days (the editor-in-chief of the Unified Artistic Rating Sergey Zagraevsky writes in this connection about "smooth, expertly executed, but absolutely soulless and soulless works" [ eight] ), although it uses sophisticated techniques, including oil and acrylic paints , tempera , watercolors and subtle glaze with an airbrush . Three main alternating themes in Plutenko’s works are East, grotesque and romanticism [3] .
