Glory to Frederick II (Glory to Frederick, Regalia Frederick II) ( Latin Frederici Honores , Honores Friderici , Gloria Frederici , Friedrichs Ehre ) - the canceled constellation of the northern hemisphere of the sky. Proposed by Bode in 1787 , published in his own "Uranography" in 1801 . It was a crown and a royal rod or sword , entwined with a laurel . Named after the Prussian King Frederick the Great , who died one year before the announcement of the constellation. There were many variations of the name of this constellation. The constellation was near the Lizard .
Currently, the constellation is not listed by the International Astronomical Union on the official list of constellations , and the stars are included in the Andromeda constellation. However, the four stars of this canceled constellation (ι, κ, λ and ψ And) continue to be sometimes perceived as the asterism of the same name, similar to the mirrored Cyrillic letter " U ".
