Karl Marx Street (Cheboksary)

Received her name in honor of Karl Marx (1818 - 1883) - German philosopher , sociologist , economist and public figure. The founder of the theory of class struggle , which became the basis of the communist and socialist movement throughout the world and was called " Marxism ".
The pre-revolutionary street name is Blagoveshchenskaya ( Efremovskaya ), from May 5, 1919 - Karl Marx. The beginning of the street was demolished in the 1970s.
Since May 18, 2004, part of Karl Marx Street has been renamed to Efremov Merchant Boulevard ^{[2] [3]} .

• No. 41 -   architectural monument (regional) - the building of the Ministry of the Interior of the Chuvash Republic (1950s) ^[13]

• No. 48 - the building of the prosecutor's office of the Chuvash Republic
• No. 54 - Cheboksary Polytechnic Institute (Branch of Moscow State Open University , now the branch of MAMI )
• No. 52 - shopping and recreation center (until 2006, the first site of the Electro-Apparatus Plant, then a shopping and entertainment center, offices)
