Location
8 km from the railway station Kostyukovka (on the line Gomel - Zhlobin ).
The territory of the village consists of three stripe sections: the main area of 198.3207 hectares, as well as two smaller ones: Lazurnaya with an area of 15.7658 hectares, separated from the main village by a railway right-of-way in the vicinity of the Lazurnaya railway station, and also a section of 2.1678 hectares to north of the village of Rassvetnaya [1] [3] . In fact, they constitute a single building array with the village of Bolshevik, bounded on the west by Route Street, on the south by Sosnovaya Street, on the east by the Gomel-Mogilyov Highway, and on the north by the railway right of way, according to the Public Cadastral Map, is under the administrative subordination of the village of Kostyukovka , which in turn, is subordinate to the Administration of the Zheleznodorozhny district of the city of Gomel [4] [5] .

Economics
The Bolshevik peat plant operates in the village, producing special equipment for the peat mining industry [13] .
