Shugai is an old Russian national women's clothing [1] .
Shugai - short outerwear . The only fitted women's clothing in pre-Petrine Russia. Shugai looked like a sweater with a detachable back at the waist. In front of the shuga there was a diagonal cut. Behind the lower part of the shuga (basque) from the waist was assembled into lush assemblies.
Shugai was hip- length. Long tapering sleeves gathered from the wrist to the elbow in small folds. Shugai could have a fur collar or a fur edge.
He was worn in a cap and sleeves. Often they wore only one left sleeve, threw it on the right shoulder and held it with the right hand.
A bugai is a type of sleigh without sleeves [2] .
