Geography
In the north, it borders with the province of El Kef , in the northeast with the province of Sillan , in the east with the province of Sidi Bou Zid , in the south with the province of Gafsa , in the west with Algeria .
On the territory of vilayet is Jebel Shambi National Park with the highest mountain of Tunisia, Shambi 1544 m.
