Spermatorrhea (sperm + Greek. Rhoia - flow, expiration; synonym - expiration of the seed), constant or frequent discharge of sperm from the urethra , usually at the end of urination or during bowel movements .
With weakness of the muscular membrane of the vas deferens, any increase in pressure in the pelvis leads to the release of one or more drops of whitish seminal fluid from the urethra . Spermatorrhea never bears the character of ejaculation , semen is not secreted by strong shocks, but slowly expires in small portions, and this phenomenon is not accompanied by sexual arousal, erection, or orgasm .
Strengthening of ejaculation occurs during defecation, tension of the muscles of the perineum , for example, during exercise, while the amount of flowing seminal fluid usually increases. Spermatorrhea is often the result of paresis of the vas deferens and (or) sphincters . It is also found in chronic diseases of the genitourinary system, diseases of the central nervous system , prolonged constipation (with colitis), etc. Semen excretion in some cases increases with the slightest sexual arousal , so some men with spermatorrhea tend to avoid any contact with women that can cause they have sexual arousal . It is also often the result of abstinence . The constant expiration of the seed and the accompanying wetting of underwear have a depressing effect on the psyche of a man. Long-existing spermatorrhea causes neurotic reactions, often astenoipochondria or depressive. Treatment is aimed at eliminating the disease that caused spermatorrhea. Sometimes spermatorrhea is mistaken for the allocation of a droplet of a transparent secretion from the urethra that occurs in men with sexual arousal (libidinal urethrorea). However, this is a normal phenomenon, which indicates only the presence of sexual arousal, proceeding even without a visible erection of the penis .
