Diasmunos, Eduardo

Eduardo Diazmunos , Diaz Muñoz ( Spanish Eduardo Diazmuñoz ; genus May 21, 1957 , Mexico City ) - Mexican conductor .

He graduated from the National Conservatory in Mexico City . In 1978 - 1979 second conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Mexico City . Then he improved his skills in Tanglewood with Leonard Bernstein and in Paris with Leon Barzen . In 1985 - 1989 headed the Mexico City Symphony Orchestra . He also directed several youth orchestras in Mexico and the Baja California Orchestra. Since 2004 , he teaches at the University of Illinois, and heads the University Opera House [1] . Since 2007 , the main conductor of the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra [2] . He is the first Mexican conductor to receive two Golden Discs and One Platinum Disc for two recordings with Mexican rock band El Tri (Warner Music México, El Tri Sinfónico & El Tri Sinfónico II).
