Wilhelm Schenner ( German: Wilhelm Schenner ; March 20, 1839 , St. Agatha - September 27, 1913 , Vienna ) is an Austrian pianist and music teacher.

Biography
Born in the family of a school teacher. Since 1860 - organist of the Evangelical Church in Vienna. In 1862 he graduated from the Vienna Conservatory (piano class of Joseph Dax ).
Did not make a special solo career. From time to time he performed in an ensemble with the Helmesberger Quartet - for example, during the performance of the Second Piano Quartet by Johannes Brahms (November 13, 1873 [1] ).
Better known as a teacher. In 1864 - 1904 professor of piano at the Vienna Conservatory . Among his students, in particular, Hugo Wolf [2] , Arthur Nikisch , Heinrich Janoch , Guido Adler [3] and others.
Schenner ’s brother Ferdinand Schenner (1846-1910) from 1870 taught and served as an organist in Brunn .
