Gulimin Es Smara ( Arabic: كلميم السمارة ) is one of the sixteen former provinces of Morocco . Territory - 71 970 km², population - 401 984 people. (census 2004). The administrative center is the city of Gulimin . The southern half of the region was in Western Sahara . In September 2015, the territory of the region was divided between the new regions of Souss - Massa , Gulimin - Wadi Nun and El Aaiun - Segiet el Hamra .
