Caroline Hogan (Ur. Johnson; English Carolyn Hougan (Johnson) ; December 6, 1943 , Los Angeles - February 25, 2007 ) - American writer. She worked with her husband under the pseudonym John Case .
Biography
Caroline Hogan was born December 16, 1943 in New Iberia, Los Angeles . She graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin . She taught at Western College for Women. In Madison, Wisconsin , Carolyn met Jim Hogan on a philosophy course. December 17, 1966 married him. The Hogans lived in Alexandria and Washington from 1980 to August 2006.
Member of the American Association of Detective Writers and Sisters in crime. Until 1980, she worked as a waitress, a school bus driver, secretary, and clerk in the office of the Governor of Wisconsin. The author of several independent detective stories.
Spirit Dance, the last novel by Cayes , was awarded the Dashiell Hammett Award for Best Literary Detective in 2007 by the International Association of Detective Romance Authors.
