The BMW M6 is a high-tech version of the BMW 6 Series, developed by the sports division of the German automaker BMW . The first generation was introduced in 1983. BMW M6 is very rich in electronics, has from 5 to 12 gear modes.

In 1983, BMW took the M88 / 3 engine (a modified version of the M88 / 1 engine from BMW M1 ) installed it on the BMW E24 platform from the 6 series , creating the M635CSi (in North America it’s just the M6 ) [1] [2] .
