Content
Geography
From the north, the territory of the silt is washed by the waters of the Black Sea .
Il Sakarya borders on the silts: Kocaeli in the west, Bursa and Bilejik in the south, Bolu and Duzce in the east.
The lower course and mouth of the Sakarya River, the eastern part of Lake Sapanca are located .
Population
The population is 756,168 inhabitants (2009).
Largest cities: Adapazar (284 thousand inhabitants in 2000), Karasu , Serdivan , Hendek , Erenler .
The majority of the descendants of Caucasian muhajirs live in silt: Adygs , Abkhazians , Abazins and other representatives of the Caucasian mountain peoples.
