Kraan is a German band from Ulm formed in 1970 . The first line-up of the group included rock musicians brothers Jan Friede and Peter Wolbrandt, as well as jazz musicians saxophonist Johannes Pappert and guitarist Helmut Huttler. The band's early albums were recorded in a style close to Kraut Rock , with oriental elements. Subsequently, the sound of the group shifted towards jazz fusion .
