The composition of hydroelectric power plants: [1] [2]

  • earthen bulk dams with adobe screen. Length along the ridge - 60 m, width along the ridge - 4 m, construction height - 6.5 m;
  • boning dam;
  • bottom spillway in the embankment dam;
  • hydroelectric power station building with turbine ditch chambers (two open chambers);
  • outlet channel;
  • waste facilities;
  • ZRU 0.4 kV.

The capacity of the hydroelectric power station is 0.54 MW, the average annual output is 0.808 million kWh. Two hydroelectric units with a capacity of 0.252 MW each, operating at a pressure of 6.5 m at a flow rate of 5.6 m³ / s through each turbine, are located in the hydroelectric building. Hydraulic turbines RO E-45 are horizontal, radial-axial, each with two impellers with a diameter of 0.95 m. Horizontal generators VFW 396 / 18-6. The manufacturer of hydroturbines is the Austrian company Voith , the generator is also the Austrian company Siemens-Schukert .

The HPP project was approved in 1941, the first phase was launched in 1945, and the station was put into continuous operation in 1951. At present, hydropower plant equipment is outdated and needs to be replaced and modernized, one of the hydraulic units is in operation, the second is decommissioned due to breakdown and inexpediency of repair. The uniqueness of hydroelectric power plants is that pure spring water is used to generate energy, which significantly reduces turbine wear [3] . The dam of the hydroelectric power station forms a reservoir of daily regulation - Lake Bekan with an area of about 65 hectares, fed by water from about 300 springs (in the area of the reservoir there is a groundwater discharge zone). The reservoir does not freeze in winter, is a wintering place for migratory waterfowl, and is used for fish farming [4] .
