Fiat CR.32

Fiat CR.32 ( Italian: Fiat CR.32 ) - a single-seat all-metal fighter - a biplane , the most massive Regia Aeronautica fighter on the date of Italy's entry into World War II . The aircraft was developed at the Fiat Design Bureau under the leadership of Celestino Rosatelli . Serial production was conducted from February 1935 to autumn 1939 at the Fiat plant in Turin . In total, 1212 copies were produced in Italy. The aircraft was produced under license by the Spanish company “Spanish-Suiza” under the name Ispano Ha-132L Chirri ( Spanish. Hispano Ha 132L Chirri ). In Spain, 100 fighters were made.

For the first time, fighters were used during the Spanish Civil War in August 1936. The Italian Air Force fighters were used from the summer of 1940 in North Africa, in 1940 in Greece, and until April 1941 they participated in battles in East Africa. CR.32 was discontinued in Italy in January 1941.
