Zhukov, Sergey Evgenievich

Born in Dimitrovgrad on May 22, 1976 in a Russian-Tatar family. He was an excellent student at school, he loved humanities, but then he became interested in music - he began to play in groups. At the age of 14, he began to sing in the Vasya group in Dimitrovgrad, named for the head Vasily Kutlubaev. In 1993 he graduated from school and moved to Samara .

In June 1993, he began working on the radio " Europe plus Samara" and conducted the dance music program "Hit Hour". There, in 1993, he met Alexei Potekhin on the radio, where they together with him created the group “Uncle Ray and Company” (in honor of the soloist Ray Sligngar of 2unlimited), whose music combined the elements of eurodance and techno style. In 1993 he entered the Samara Academy of Culture and Arts . Six months living in a dormitory at the Academy. In 1999, he graduated from the Samara Academy of Culture and Arts with a degree in director of show programs, organizer of youth cultural and leisure activities.

In December 1994, together with Alexei Potekhin, they move to Tolyatti , where they try to record songs at the studios, on the air of Radio Europe Plus , they go to Samara. It was while living in Tolyatti that Sergey Zhukov began to meet with his first wife Elena Dobyndo, the daughter of AVTOVAZ vice-president. Their affair did not start immediately - after a while Zhukov moved to Moscow, Elena also ended up in Moscow, and after another meeting in Moscow, the lovers decided not to part anymore. Soon after the wedding, their daughter Alexandra was born. However, the couple’s family life did not develop, quarrels began to flare up more and more often, and four years later Elena decided to file for divorce. For Zhukov, the divorce was very difficult - he was depressed, tried several times to make peace with his wife, but he failed to restore his family. Elena soon after the divorce went with her daughter to America. Acquaintance with Regina Burd, speaking in the group "Cream", helped to restore emotional balance to Sergey. They were close in spirit - they both loved music, built a career in show business, and when Regina met Zhukov, she was already quite popular. After an unforgettable offer of a hand of heart, made by Sergey during a walk on a yacht, Regina agreed to marry him.

Zhukov considers the beginning of his career on May 1, 1995, when he found himself in Moscow. In Moscow, he worked as a DJ on the Moscow radio stations "Rocks" and " Maximum ". The name of the group "Hands Up" was given on the radio "Maximum" at the end of 1996. The group was interested in producer Andrei Malikov, concerts and trips began. Sergei Zhukov does not deny that all his concerts were held under the phonogram .

In 2002, Sergei Zhukov’s first solo album, Territory, was released. In 2004, the album “Territory. Tenderness".
