Career

Paired with Julia Obertas

He started skating at the age of four, when his grandmother bought him skates. Then my grandmother heard an announcement about recruiting to the figure skating group and took her grandson there.

The first partner of Sergey Slavnov was Julia Karbavskaya. A couple Karbovskaya — Slavnov successfully performed at international competitions. They became Russian junior champions in 2001 and silver medalists of the 2002 junior world championship .

In 2002, Slavnov began a romantic relationship with Julia Obertas. Immediately after the end of the 2002/2003 season in April, Obertas and Slavnov paired up, parting with their previous partners. And in the summer of that year, the couple switched from Lyudmila Velikova , who had been training until then, to Tamara Nikolaevna Moskvina .

The couple worked for Moskvina for 3 years, and after a series of unsuccessful performances in the 2005-2006 season, the duo returned to Lyudmila Velikova.

The couple announced that they would skip the 2007–2008 season due to Julia’s injury and Sergei’s appendicitis surgery. In 2008, Evgeni Plushenko performed on the show.

In the summer of 2008 they announced that they would not appear at the competitions beginning of the 2008/2009 season, but, perhaps, they would perform at the 2009 Russian championship [1] . However, this never happened. Obviously, the skaters completed an amateur career, although this was not officially announced.

In the fall of 2008, Sergey took part in the television show of the RTR channel " Star Ice ", where he performed together with actress and singer Anastasia Zadorozhnaya .

Since 2011, she has been performing in the ice theatrical show “Russian Ice Stars” [2] . Since 2008, meets with Anastasia Zadorozhnaya (08/30/1985)
