Dugarry, Christoph

Christophe Dugarry ( French: Christophe Dugarry ; March 24, 1972, Lormont , France ) - French footballer who completed his career and played as a midfielder and striker. 1998 World Champion, 2000 European Champion . In 1999, he was convicted of using nandrolone [3] . Currently works as a commentator on French television.

Content

Club career

As a child, Dugarry began his journey at the local football club of the same name in his hometown of Lormont. Now the club stadium bears his name [4] . As part of Lormon, he won the Aquitain League Junior Cup in 1985. At the age of 17, Christophe joins the Bordeaux football club, where he plays in the youth and basic squad along with future teammates Zinedine Zidane and Bixant Lizarazu . He spent eight years at Bordeaux, scoring 34 goals in 187 matches. After the UEFA Cup match against Milan , in which Dugarry scored a goal for Milan, Milan wanted to get a player. In the 1996/1997 season, he became a Rossoneri player.
