Arius Kamen (Sivuchy) [1] is an uninhabited island of the Commander archipelago . Administratively part of the Aleutian district of the Kamchatka Territory .

The fourth largest island of the Commander archipelago .
Located at a distance of 6.3 km west of Bering Island . It is a rock with a height of 49.8 m [2] and a circle of about 1 km. Arius Kamen is deprived of fresh water.
To the south of the island, Arius Kamen is a nameless flat islet with a height of 2 m.

Historical Information
Named in 1824, O. E. Kotzebue Island New . After 3 years, the island was visited by F. P. Litke and named it Sivuchiy . In 1848, the island receives the name Arius - by the multitude of birds nesting here, al. Since 1883 it has been marked on the maps as Arius Stone [3] .
Nature Conservancy
The island of Arius Kamen is a haven for numerous birds (17 protected species), sea lions, antura seals, larghas, northern fur seals and sea otters. Since 1983, the island has the status of a specially protected natural area and is part of the Commander State Natural Biosphere Reserve [4] .
