Biography
Born into a noble family. He studied in Moscow at the Petrovsky-Razumovsky Agricultural Academy . Returning to Georgia, he performed on the amateur and professional stage, organized performances, worked as a theater journalist and publisher. He has made many translations into Georgian ( N.V. Gogol , A.N. Ostrovsky , W. Shakespeare , Moliere , V. Hugo , G. Ibsen , G. Hauptmann ). Adhered to democratic views.
Since 1913 starred in the movie. After the establishment of Soviet power in Georgia, he took part in the organization of theatrical affairs.
The name was given to the Poti State Theater. A memorial plaque was erected on 24/21 along Galaktion Tabidze Street in Tbilisi
