History

The founding year is considered to be 1740 , when on the site of the small village of Kagi, possibly founded by Old Believers and named along the river flowing here, was founded one of the Demidov factories - the Kaginsky plant [2] , which belonged to the Upper Urals county of the Orenburg province .

The village burned repeatedly. The fire in the summer of 1911 completely destroyed the plant, [3] after which the economic importance of the village finally fell.
