Dan Fa ( Chinese trad. 鄧 發 , Ex . 发 , Pinyin : Dèng Fā ; March 7, 1906, Guangdong - August 4, 1946, Shaanxi ) - Communist Party of China (CPC), a member of the CPC Central Committee, one of the organizers and leaders trade union movement.

Born in 1906 in the province of Guangdong in a poor family. In 1921 he went to Hong Kong to work as a craftsman. Joined the Su Zhaochen union. He was one of the leaders of the Hong Kong sailors strike of 1922. In 1925 he joined the Communist Party . He took an active part in the leadership of the large-scale strike of 1925–1926 in Guangdong and Hong Kong . Participated in the Northern campaign . From the spring of 1927 he headed the industry trade union of oil industry workers in Guangdong . In December of the same year, he took part in the Guangzhou uprising, commanding the fighting of oil workers. After the failure of the uprising, he lives in Hong Kong , Shanghai , occupies posts in the city committees of the CPC in Hong Kong , Guangzhou . In 1928-1929 he headed the trade unions of Hong Kong .
In 1930, led the work in the revolutionary base of Fujian-Guangdong-Jiangxi, actively participated in massacres with dissatisfied with the policies of Mao in these parts. In 1931–1934, he was the head of the Political Security Directorate at the Jiangxi Central Revolutionary Base. He is elected a candidate member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee. From October 1934 - responsible political worker in various military units. Participated in the Great March . From June 1936 to September 1937, he visited the Soviet Union as part of the CPC delegation to the Comintern . During the anti-Japanese war of 1937–1945, he headed the representation of the 8th People’s Revolutionary Army in Xinjiang . From the autumn of 1939 he was the head of the Central Party School in Yenan (1939–1942). In 1945, he headed the trade union delegation of the liberated regions of China at the International Congress of Trade Unions in Paris. He died in April 1946 during an air crash in the province of Shaanxi, together with the former CPC General Secretary Bo Gu and General Ye Ting .
Memories of Dan Fa
After a few hours, a thin, middle-aged man appeared, accompanied by a group of bodyguards. A broad smile lit his face. It was Dan Fa, a member of the Central Committee and authorized by the party and the government for security issues. Over the course of the year, I became close to him. He was a man with an inexhaustible sense of humor and romantic inclinations. He liked to arrange horse races or competitions in pistol shooting. Subordinate to him the part of the safety and security, he armed with broad curved swords, to the hilt of which were tied pieces of red cloth. He carried out his duties, as far as I can judge, strictly and impartially, without interfering in any internal conflicts.
