Career
Pupil of the Mashinostroitel team (Balashikha). In the late 60s, this team was coached by the former goalkeeper of the Moscow Spartak Vladimir Chernyshev . In 1968, at one of the Mashinostroitel’s friendly matches with Spartak Moscow, Kalinova was watched by Nikita Simonyan, Spartak’s head coach. The peak of the success of a football player fell on the years 1969-1972. In “Spartacus” Kalinov began to play the position of the reference midfielder in the first team. In 1969, he became the champion of the USSR , and two years later, in 1971, he took the USSR Cup . He was considered one of the most talented players, he was twice among the 33 best players of the USSR at the end of the season.
In the future, Kalinov began to notice problems with the sports regime. The frequent use of alcoholic beverages and the arrival at workouts drunk had an impact on his fate [2] . By the end of 1972, he was expelled from the team for regular roundabouts, and then he landed in the military unit. As a result, the brilliantly started career of a young footballer quickly ended. As a soldier, he played for the Iskra football club in Smolensk (second league).
In 1975 he returned to his native club "Mashinostroitel", where a year later completely disappeared from sight.
In 1977, he played for the team of the city of Tatarbunary ( Odessa region ).
Was married. The spouse together with the child left him for Ukraine [3] .
In recent years, almost never worked, interrupted by odd jobs. Listed missing since March 1996.
