Soge

In 708, Soge himself declared himself a kagan. The Turgesh Khaganate intensified and could put up about 300,000 soldiers. In order to establish relations with the new kagan, the Tang government sent Ashina Hauaydao to Soghe to hand over a letter, a banner and four court girls. Soge also sent an ambassador to Chang'an , where Tang Chung-zong received him at a military parade with 10,000 cavalry.

Soon the war broke out with the Khan Kuli-Churi . The kagan did not have enough strength to suppress the uprising, and he asked Tan to intervene. But Kuli-Churi managed to send Tang minister Zong Chukhe a thousand lian silver. The minister sided with Kuli-Churi and even advised using Tibetans against Soghe. Pin Jiabao was sent by Jong Chuke to Kagan. Seeing that the Chinese were against him, the kagan killed Jiabao and his couriers and sent his brother Zhen to attack the Chinese border. Niu Shijiang, governor of Ansi , met the Turks near the city of Hoshaocheng and was defeated by them and killed. SOGE said he required Chukhe's head. The emperor decided not to quarrel and the question was hushed up.

Soon, Zheng , dissatisfied with the fact that his brother gave him few people and power, rebelled and migrated to the East-Turkic kaganate to Kapagan kagan . Zheng offered to jointly overthrow the Soge. Kapagan Kagan invaded the Kaganate and defeated Soge, who was killed in the battle.
