Biography
Nkeiruka Ezekh was born in Moscow. Her father - Nigerian Hilary Ezeh - studied at Moscow State University. After receiving her diploma in 1985, Nkeiruki’s father returned to Nigeria, while she herself and her mother Elvira Konstantinovna (a Chuvash by nationality) remained in Moscow [2] .
At the age of 14, Ezekh began to curling at the Moskvich sports school with trainer Olga Andrianova, and two years later, for the first time, she became the champion of Russia as part of Dynamo Moscow (skip Nina Golovchenko). Only 14 times won the championship of Russia in the various teams of the club "Moskvich". According to this indicator, Ezekh is the record holder in domestic curling [3] .
From 2000 to 2005 she played for the youth team of Russia, and in December 2000 she made her debut in the national team of Russia . During this time I took part in four Olympic Games , 15 world championships , 16 European championships , three winter Universiades . Four times at these official international competitions, she won gold medals and another 8 times - silver and bronze. From 2002 to 2007 in the team played the position of vice-skip, since 2008 - sweater.
On July 16, 2010, Nkeiruka Ezekh was awarded the title Honored Master of Sports of Russia . [4] In addition to her, this title was awarded to Olga Zharkova . Both athletes were the first deserved masters of sports in curling Russia.
A graduate of the Moscow Aviation Institute with a degree in software engineering.
