Biography
Anka received her musical education in the Romanian city of Iasi , where she studied at the Higher Music School and Conservatory. After that, until 1989, she worked as a piano teacher in the Romanian city of Suceava , then at the Bucharest Conservatory, and also in other European countries : Germany , Great Britain , Belgium and Moldova .
Her solo career began with performances at various European jazz festivals in 1984, and during her subsequent career she recorded 16 music albums. At one of the performances, Anka met the Romanian DJ Tom Boxer, with whom she recorded her last album in 2008, the song “Brasil” from which made her very popular in Europe.
On December 5, 2008, Anka Pargel died of breast cancer in the Romanian city of Timisoara at the age of 51.
