Hydrometry
Co belongs to the Seine basin. The river, like most of the rivers flowing from the Barrois plateau, is full of water. The average monthly water discharge was observed for 49 years (from 1957 to 2005) at the station in Vitry en Pertois, which is located near the confluence of So and Marne. The area of the river basin is 2100 km ², water consumption - 25.7 m / ³ sec.
There are seasonal changes in water flow rate from 44 to 52 m³ / s from December to March inclusive (with a maximum in January-February). In the summer from June to October, the flow rate can decrease to 7.34 m³ / s (in August).
