Geography
Il Bayburt borders on the silts of Erzurum , Erzincan , Gyumyushkhan , Trabzon and Rize .
In the northern part of the silt, the Lazistansky Range . The territory is confined to the Chorokh river basin (Chorukh) .
History
The territory of the sludge was previously the eastern part of the sludge Gumyushkhan.
Population
The population is 97,358 inhabitants (2009).
The largest city is Bayburt (32 thousand inhabitants in 2000).
