Sorokina, Natalya Vladimirovna

Natalia Vladimir Sorokina (nee Guseva ) ( September 12, 1982 , Tikhvin , Leningrad Region ) is a Russian athlete, a member of the Russian Olympic biathlon team at the Olympic Games in Turin . Bronze medalist of the Biathlon World Championship 2007 , international master of sports in Russia ( 2003 ).

Biography

July 28, 2009 Natalia got married and took the name of her husband - Sorokin . Spouse is a Kursk journalist Denis Sorokin, and according to Natalia, has nothing to do with sports [1] .

October 22, 2015, Natalia and her husband had a daughter. In the family of a famous biathlete, this is the first child.

Sports career

Russian competitions

  • Champion of Russia 2011 in the sprint.
  • In the 2010/2011 season, the Izhevsk rifle won the sprint at the tournament

World Cup

Natalia’s best achievement is a sprint victory at the 2003/2004 World Cup in Antholz [2] .

Natalia is a bronze medalist in the 2007 Sprint World Championships in Antholz-Anterselva.
