Anton Sergeyevich Kushnir (born October 13, 1984 , Chervonoarmiysk , Rivne Oblast , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Belarusian freestyle artist of Ukrainian origin performing in acrobatics. Olympic champion in 2014 , winner of the World Cup 2009/2010 (won 4 stages out of 6, once won second place and once third), silver medalist in the overall classification of the World Cup 2007/2008, bronze medalist in the 2011 world championship . Honored Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus (2017).

General Information
The first coach is Galina Petrovna Dosova. Since 2002, lives and trains in Belarus (in Minsk ). He stands for Dynamo (Minsk).
Member of the Olympic Games 2006 and 2010 . At the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver , being one of the main favorites of the tournament, he was the leader in the qualification after the first jump, but in the second he landed unsuccessfully, his ski unfastened and as a result Kushnir showed only the 21st result in the second attempt, having failed in total 2 jumps break into the number of 12 finalists [1] .
In the post-Olympic season, he won a bronze medal at the Deere Valley World Championships . However, in the following seasons, Anton did not show outstanding achievements, but fought more with injuries, having undergone two operations. Due to health problems, he missed the 2013 World Cup .
In the 2013/14 Olympic season, Kushnir fully recovered, won the world cup stage in January and came to Sochi in the rank of one of the favorites. In the first qualification attempt, the Belarusian showed the seventh result, which did not immediately allow him to be classified in the finals, but in the second qualification jump he did not experience problems with getting into the top six, showing the second result. In the first and second final rounds, Kushnir took second and third places respectively, which allowed him to reach the main final. In the final, Kushnir made the hardest jump [2] out of ski acrobatics - a triple somersault with five pirouettes with a coefficient of difficulty of 5.0, which earned him 134.5 points and the title of Olympic champion [3] . This result was the highest score that was scored in one jump at the Olympics (before that, the American record holder was Eric Bergoust , who received 133.05 points at his Nagano Olympics for his jump).
