Hockey

Belarus did not qualify for men's hockey, held in February 2005 in Riga . Latvia won the teams of Belarus, Poland and Slovenia, and won one of three places at the 2006 Olympic Games. Belarus took the second position, defeating the teams of Poland and Slovenia [2]

  1. ↑ News on tut.by - Dolidovich and Lazutkin along with ten more athletes from other countries were barred from participating in competitions for 5 days due to an increased hemoglobin content in the blood. The reason for this could be the high-altitude climate at the competition venue.
