Biography
Club career
Jalma is the son of Abel Campos, a football player who spent several seasons in Portugal, playing for Benfica and Braga . Jalma was born in Luanda, began to play football in the Lisbon region , speaking for Alverka, Lorish, Estoril.
In the summer of 2006, Jalma signed a contract with Maritimo . For his new club, he debuted on May 5, 2007 in a match against Akademika, coming on as a substitute and spending 12 minutes on the field. In the 2008/09 season, the Angolan became the main player in the attack of the club from Madeira.
May 2, 2011 Jalma signed a five-year contract with Porto . The first season, the Angolan was used as a substitute player, having spent a total of 19 matches and scoring 3 goals. Jalma was leased to the Turkish “ Kasympasha ” in the summer of 2012. A year later, the Angolan was again given to Turkey, this time to Konyaspor .
Team Career
On August 20, 2008 he made his debut in the Angola national team in a friendly match with Tunisia . Jalma participated in the African Cup of Nations 2010 , 2012 , 2013 . Jalma scored the first goal for the national team in a friendly match against Malta on October 10, 2009.
In the summer of 2019, Jalma was called up to his national team for the African Cup of Nations in Egypt . In the first match against Tunisia, he scored a goal in the 73rd minute, and the teams drew with a score of 1: 1.
