Portals of Grace is Azam Ali's debut solo studio album, released in 2002 . Previously, the singer worked with the group project Vas . The album reached the 9th line in the Billboard magazine's New Age Albums charts [2] .

Album Information
Portals of Grace consists of Sephardic and Arabic songs [1] , as well as French and Mediterranean songs of the XII - XIV centuries [3] .
Although Portals of Grace is Ali's first solo album, her Vas partner Greg Ellis also plays a prominent role on the album [4] . Among other participating musicians, Nasser Musa ( ud ) and Chris Blet ( duduk ) stand out [5] . In addition to the above, the album sounds a lot of traditional instruments of medieval music, such as rebec , wheel lira , fidel [6] .
