Biography
Born November 28, 1980 in the Libyan capital Tripoli.
She graduated from the Institute of Asian and African countries at Moscow State University . In 2004, she was hired by the international department of the Kommersant newspaper, where she covered the work of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and the PACE session , the Middle East conflict, the Iranian nuclear program and other international topics. In 2006, she became a columnist for Kommersant. Power".
From August 2007 to June 2009 she worked as deputy head of the RIA Novosti bureau in Washington ( USA ). It covered the presidential race in the 2008 elections and the first months of the administration of the 44th US President Barack Obama .

In the program “48 minutes” dated October 19, 2006 at the Ekho Moskvy radio station, Nargiz Asadova noted that she was Azerbaijani. Alexey Venediktov also drew attention to this [10] .
In the program “Special Opinion” dated January 27, 2011 on the Ekho Moskvy radio station, she answered “no” to the question of Maxim Shevchenko whether she is Azerbaijani and said that she is “a man of the world ” [ 11] .
