Biological Description
Monopodial epiphyte . The stem is shortened, hidden by the bases of the leaves. The leaves are dark green, oval, 15-30 cm long, 6-8 cm wide.
Peduncle perennial, branching, paniculate, up to 25 cm long.
Flowers are star-shaped, about 5 cm in diameter, waxy, fragrant (the smell of green apples [4] ). The main color of the petals is various shades of yellow and orange with a greenish tint. The horizontal stripes are red-brown. The lip is white with a pink, red or orange stain.
The column is fleshy, arched.
