Content
History
The club was founded in 1967 after the merger of the three football teams of the island of Corfu (Aris Kerkyras, Helespontis and Asteras Kerkyras) in one piece to perform in the Second Division. In 1969, the team was renamed “Kerkyra”.
In 1999, the post of president of the football club was taken by Spyros Kaloyannis, who helped the team pass 3 Greek football divisions in 4 years. In 2004, Kerkyra made its debut in the Alpha League, but the next season - flew back. In 2006 and 2007, the club repeated the way up and return.
The 2012/2013 season the team finished in last 16th place, gaining 20 points (4 wins and 8 draws), and flew into the second league . The team began the new season with a merger with another football club - FC Kassiopi from Igoumenitsa . She successfully spent the 2013/2014 season and took second place, behind the winner - FC Nicky Volos by only 2 points. The best scorer of the 2013/2014 season was the Macedonian legionnaire - Zoran Baldovaliev, who scored 11 goals against opponents.
