Biography

Club career

Vladimir Gomenyuk began his football career at the Ikva club from the city of Mlinov. Then he was in the double camp of Lutsk “ Volyn ” [2] . In 2005, Gomenyuk joined the Tavria club. At the age of 19, Vladimir quickly became the main player of Tavria, and later became the team captain.

In January 2009, he moved to Dnipropetrovsk Dnipro and signed a contract for three years [3] . The first goal for Dnipro was scored in the 6th game played for the club in the April 11 match with Vorskla in the third minute of the meeting. From 2011 to 2013 he played for the Kiev Arsenal .

On the last day of the transfer window , September 2, 2013, he transferred on a rental basis to Kharkiv Metalist, where he was called to replace Cristaldo who left the team [4] .

In the summer of 2015, he was declared for the newcomer to the Ukrainian championship, Dneprodzerzhinsk Steel , which took the place of the bankrupt Donetsk Metallurg [5] . Team Career

Vladimir made his debut in the national team of Ukraine on June 1, 2008 in a friendly match against the national team of Sweden , which ended with the victory of Ukraine 1-0 [9] . Three months later, Gomenyuk played in the qualifying match for the 2010 World Cup .

The next time he was called up to the team at the end of May 2013 by Mikhail Fomenko for a friendly match against Cameroon on June 2 and a meeting as part of the qualification for the 2014 World Cup against Montenegro on June 7 [10] .
