Peter and Paul Church in Kozhevniki (1406) is a single-domed four-column Novgorod church [1] on Zverina (Bredova) street in Veliky Novgorod , near the southern part of Zverin Monastery .

History
Built at the expense of artisans-tanners [2] , on the site of the wooden church of 1227 damaged by a fire in 1384 [3] . Stacked of limestone and brick blocks and not plastered. The facades are decorated with brick ornaments. Currently, the museum building houses a museum, and all the icons from the Church of Peter and Paul are kept in the Novgorod Historical Museum in the Kremlin [4] .
In the 1930s, the church bell tower was demolished [5] .
During the Great Patriotic War, was severely destroyed, restored in 1959 [6] , the authors of the restoration are L. M. Shuliak, G. M. Stender [2] .
