Title
On some maps, other spellings of the name are found: Harnaurdykeu, Harnaurdy-Kau, Harnaurdy-Kay. Translated from the Zyryan language, the name of the peak translates as "steep mountain, from where the deer fell."
Location
It is located in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District in the Tyumen Region a few kilometers from the border of the Komi Republic . It borders from the north of the IGAN plateau (Institute of Geography of the Academy of Sciences), where the eponymous glacier, the largest in the Polar Urals, is located. The peak itself does not have permanent glaciation.
Climbing routes
Ascent to the top is possible from the IGAN plateau or directly from the foot, along one of the two cars descending into the valley of the Hadata River . According to the climbing classification, the peak belongs to category 1A.
