Padua Conservatory named after Cesare Pollini

The Cesare Pollini Conservatory of Padua ( Italian: Conservatorio Statale di Musica "Cesare Pollini" ) is an Italian conservatory located in Padua . Founded in 1878 , classes began in 1879 . Named after the first director, pianist Cesare Pollini , after his death in 1912 . Originally a music school, since 1901 it was called the Padua Institute of Music ( Italian: Istituto Musicale di Padova ).
