Cheboksary Distillery is a Russian producer of alcohol products located in the city of Cheboksary . One of the oldest enterprises in the city.

History
On April 21, 1898, the Excise Tax Manager of the Kazan province wrote: "One of the alleged wine depots, for my reasons, should be located in the city of Cheboksary . "
The company was founded in 1899 as the " State Wine Warehouse No. 3 ". In the Kazan province there were three such warehouses: in Kazan , Chistopol and in Cheboksary. The warehouse was subordinate to the provincial excise department of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Empire .
The date of birth of the plant is considered August 6, 1899: on that day, "Treasury Wine Warehouse No. 3" was consecrated by clergy of the Vvedensky , Nikolsky and Ascension Cathedrals of the city of Cheboksary .
At the beginning of the 20th century, the state-owned wine warehouse No. 3 was the largest enterprise in Cheboksary. Had 2 steam engines with a capacity of 23 liters. from. , 2 dynamos , distillation apparatuses, large tanks and other equipment, washing, filling, packing, dispensing, crockery, etc. In 1914, it produced 480 thousand buckets of wine and alcohol. That year, 75 full-time and 110 temporary workers were employed at the warehouse [1]
The enterprise is included in the "List of large, economically or socially significant organizations of the Chuvash Republic for 2008" [2] .
Previously, Cheboksarsky Distillery was a branch of Rosspirtprom OJSC [3] .
Architecture
The factory building consists of relief, brick-lined parts and original in shape, pronounced attics with lucarnes .
