Sendai International Music Competition is a competition of pianists and violinists - performers of academic music , which is held every three years in the Japanese city of Sendai ( γ γ γ γ γ γ γ γ γ γ γ γ γ γ γ γ γΌ γ ). The competition was established in 2001 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the city. Most of the participants are from Europe and East Asia. The winner receives 3 million Japanese yen , participants who took places from 2nd to 6th are also awarded.
