Alyona Mikhailovna Baeva (born 1985 ) is a Russian violinist .
Biography
Alyona Baeva was born in the city of Osh (Kyrgyzstan, USSR) in a family of musicians. Having discovered a wonderful memory and the ability to accurately reproduce once heard melodies, Alena entered the music school. Prokofiev in Alma-Ata (Kazakhstan) at the age of five years to the class of teacher Olga Nikolaevna Danilova (violin).
In 1994, she was noticed by the outstanding Russian professor Eduard Davidovich Grach, and in 1995 , at his invitation, she moved with her family to Moscow, where she studied at the Central Music School at the Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky until its graduation in 2002. At the age of 12, Alyona Baeva won the International Youth Violin Competition in Kloster-Shontal , at 14 she won the International Tadeusz Vronsky Violin Competition in Warsaw (while being her youngest participant), and in 2001, being a student of grade 10, she won ( first prize, gold medal and 9 special prizes) of the prestigious violin competition named after Henryk Wieniawski in Poznan (Poland). In 2004 , she won the Second Moscow International Paganini Competition , which gave her the right to play the Stradivari violin, owned by Henryk Wieniawski, for a year, and in 2007 the International Competition in Sendai (Japan), where the violinist was awarded the first Award and Audience Choice Award.
In 2007 she graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in the class of Eduard Grach .
She also studied under the direction of Shlomo Mintz at master classes in Israel “Keshet Eilon” from 2001 to 2006, which had a great influence on the development of the musician; Ida Handel studied with one of the greatest violinists of the 20th century there, talked and listened to the lessons of Ivri Gitlis (violin), Itamar Golan (piano) and other outstanding musicians.
In 2003, at the invitation of Mstislav Leopoldovich Rostropovich and with the support of the Rostropovich Foundation, she completed an internship in Paris (lessons with Professor Boris Mikhailovich Garlitsky), which greatly influenced the violinist's love and commitment to European values.
In 2006, she played the Mozart Concert Symphony for the first time with Yuri Abramovich Bashmet, after which many joint concerts were played with the Maestro - from chamber music to Britten's Double Concerto.
Since 1995 , she participated in international music festivals in Tours (France) and many others - “Stars of the White Nights”, “Crazy Days in Nantes” ....
Since 2006, takes part in the annual international music festival Crescendo . [one]
