Biography

Graduated from:

  • Moscow Art School at the Institute. Surikova (1957).
  • VGIK (art. Ft., 1963).

The production designer of the Mosfilm , Belarusfilm , Riga Film Studio and other studios , as well as a theater artist. He worked on the films of Andron Konchalovsky, Sergey Solovyov, George Danelius, Andrei Tarkovsky, Nikolai Dostal, Larisa Shepitko, Gleb Panfilov, Andrei Smirnov, Sergei Jurassic, Rodion Nakhapetov. He taught painting and drawing at the staging department of the School-Studio named after Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko (University) at the Moscow Art Theater. A.P. Chekhov. Winner of the Golden Aries and TEFI awards.

Recognition and Rewards

  • 2000 - Golden Aries Award for the best work by the production designer in the film Romanovs. Crowned Family
  • 2004 - TEFI Prize for the best work of the production designer in the film Poor Nastya
