Ashurkovo is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Safonovsky district . The population is 11 inhabitants ( 2007 ) [1] . It is located in the central part of the region 32 km north-east of the city of Safonov , 19 km north of the Belarus highway M1 , on the left bank of the Dnieper . 24 km south of the village is Izdeshkovo railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line . It is part of the Bogdanovschinsky rural settlement.
