Geography
Many rivers flow through the territory of the region, among them one of the largest in Europe - Kama and Belaya . The surface of the region is a wavy flat-sloping plain with an amplitude of absolute heights of 62-235 m. The lowest points are at the surface of the Nizhnekamsk airdr. along the flooded floodplains of the Kama, Belaya and Ik . The highest sites are located in the southern part of the district. The highest point of the relief, with a mark of 235 m, is located south of the village. Poisevo .
In the central part of the region, the rivers East Shabiz and Western Shabiz flow. The length of East Shabiz is about 45 km, West - 30 km. Both rivers flow in wide valleys. The main water supply of the district is carried out on the basis of groundwater taken by water wells.
There are many lakes and swamps in the area. In the north-eastern part is the largest in the territory of Tatarstan swamp massif Kulyagash , which is a complex swamp lake complex. The total area of the massif is about 4900 hectares, the length from west to east is 17.5 km, and from north to south - 10 km. Within the swamp massif Kulyagash there are many lakes. The largest of them is Lake. Kulyagash, which gave the name to the entire massif, Atyr, Kinder-Kul, Azybeevskoye and Sulalyale-Kul. In addition to these lakes, the region has a large number of old lake, all of them have an elongated shape and shallow depths. These are the lake. Bush (Iske Idel) at the village. Aktanysh, Sezakkul at s. Semiostrovo, Sutke-Kul, Usharova, Azyakul and others.
Climate
The region is characterized by a temperate continental climate with warm summers and moderately cold winters. It is formed mainly under the influence of the western transport of air masses. Air masses moving from the Atlantic Ocean , warm and humid, soften the local climate. The introduction of cold air comes from the Arctic basin . In winter, the cold continental air of temperate latitudes often invades. Warm tropical air comes from the southwest and south, in the summer from the southeast.
History
After the troops of Ivan the Terrible conquered the Kazan Khanate , the lands were reassigned to the Menzelinsky governor of the Kazan Order (as the local governing body was called in the XVI-XVII centuries), from 1708 they were incorporated into the Kazan province , from 1719 - the Ufa province , from 1728 - Kazan governor, from 1735 - the Bashkir Commission , from 1744 - the Orenburg province , from 1781 subordinated to the Ufa governorate , from 1796 again to the Orenburg province, from 1865 to the Ufa province and since 1920 became part of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic . That is why most of the official information about the sources must be sought in Orenburg and Ufa .
The Finno-Ugric peoples once lived on the lands. This is evidenced by the Bronze Age archaeological materials found at Pianbor, as well as in the burial sites of the villages of Taktalachuk, Chiyalek, Tatar Azibey, Semiostrov, Yamaly, Masady, Garay, Ilchechay, Irmyashevo, Aktanysh, Karach, Shabyzovo.
Until 1920, the territory of the Aktanyshsky district was part of the Menzelinsky district of the Ufa province . [3] In 1920, Menzelinsky district became part of the newly formed Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
The area was organized on August 10, 1930 . On February 1, 1963, he was transferred to the Menzelinsky collective-farm state-farm territorial-production department, and on January 12, 1965, he was again transformed into the Aktanyshsky district.
