Guryev Street - the disappeared Lipetsk street. It was located in the Levoberezhniy district and passed in Novolipetsk from Lesnaya street in a south-westerly direction between the Voronezh river and the highway connecting Novolipetsk and Traktorny (now part of Metallurgov street ).
It was founded on December 12, 1946 and named after the Hero of the Soviet Union , a participant in the Great Patriotic War , the guard of Major General, S. S. Guryev (1902-1945), a native of the Lipetsk region of the Lipetsk region .
The street was built up with private and low-rise collective houses, which were completely demolished by the end of the 1980s during the construction of garages in this area and the inclusion of the street in the sanitary protection zone of NLMK's coke and nitrogen fertilizer plants.
